 Walter Barda-designed Avalon Beach home sells

A Walter Barda designed Avalon Beach house has been sold through Raine & Horne.

It was a three bedroom, two bathroom home at 2 Coolawin Road.

Last month's sale price has been withheld, but David Eden, the agent, was seeking $2 million plus.

The house was built on its 797 square metre block is a seminal pavilion style.

The single level residence was marketed as a modern interpretation of the classic Queenslander from its plantation shutters, ceiling fans to its glass louvres.

The block cost $890,000 in 2008.

Title Tattle wrote of another northern beaches designed Barda offering that was listed last week at Bilgola.
