Buyers of almost every age and demographic have been showing interest in the burgeoning suburb of Preston, now one of Melbourne's most popular fringe suburbs just nine kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD.

More recently the suburb has been attracting families, due to a growing number of schooling, as well as appropriate-sized housing.

“Thanks to a few decades of urban sprawl, Preston is now considered one of Melbourne’s hottest northern suburbs. It seems like there’s new, hip bars popping up on every corner”, Timeout Magazine said.

One of the latest developments set for completion in Preston is Central Preston Gardens, which has completion forecast for late 2021.

The 16-townhome development is being delivered by the HongKong Sonlam Group and Times Fund.

Situated at 223-227 Gower Street, Central Preston Gardens benefits greatly from it's location, close to T W Blake park, the Preston Oval and the Preston Library.

It is well connected via public transportation as it's close to Preston Station, Albert Street and High Street.

There's new infrastructure in the pipeline 2 kilometers away, with the Victorian Planning Authority currently reviewing plans for a new Preston Market Precinct, taking in 12.5 acres of privately-owned land with integrations with Preston Station and High Street.

Prices start at $750,000 for a two bedroom townhouse and $900,000 for a three bedder.
