Professional golfer Stuart Appleby has listed his home away from home in Brighton East.

The four-bedroom property (pictured below) backs onto the Brighton Golf Course and is expected to secure over $2 million.

Appleby bought the double-storey home in 2007 for about $2.2 million.

The kitchen features Ilve appliances and a butler's pantry, while upstairs has a limestone and marble bathroom.

Situated on 370 square metres, the property boasts an outdoor alfresco domain and solar heated swimming pool.

Appleby and his wife Ashley are selling the home as they no longer have any use for it, due to the US and Australian tour dates clashing.

The couple and their four children are based in Orlando, Florida, but Appleby was born in northern Victoria.

The couple previously had a Hampton townhouse in May Street which was bought in 2004 for around $740,000, before moving into the Brighton East home.

Appleby has nine PGA tour wins under his belt.

The property is listed through Paul Castran of Castran Gilbert for a June 15 auction.
