South Kingsville might only cover 0.7 square kilometres and have a population of 2,156, but the quiet suburb near Spotswood and Newport is attracting attention for its connection to everything Melbourne has to offer.

The suburb is in fact so small that two parks cover over eight per cent of its total area.

South Kingsville perfectly combines the trendy café culture of Yarraville with the beachside allure of Port Phillip Bay's fishing havens.

It was this blend that attracted Frater Group to the suburb for their latest townhouse development, Knew, just 32 townhouses which have recently been completed.

The New Street project, which has two, three and four-bedroom townhouses on offer, was designed by IN8 Architects who created facades built on bold geometric lines and shapes and European-style terraces.

Knew residents have direct access to Patchwork Park, one of the two parks in South Kingsville. They're just 10 minutes away from the recently upgraded Edwards Reserve, which has a kid's playground and barbecues.

The exclusive South Kingsville address also offers residents proximity to an impressive selection of educational institutions, with 11 schools within a two-kilometre radius.

St Margaret Mary's School, Newport Lakes Primary School and Emmanuel College are some of the nearest schools to the property.

Westbourne Grammar and Heatherdale Christian College, which rank among Melbourne's top 50 VCE performers, are a seven-minute drive from Knew.

The development also includes a new childcare centre managed by Community Children. The South Kingsville childcare centre allocates space for five children’s rooms and a cot room on the ground floor, especially for working families that need extended daycare.

As far as eateries go, there's everything from the award-winning Middle Eastern cuisine at Dukkah to delectable soul food BBQ at Burn City Smokers.

Motorino Pizzeria offers authentic Italian pizza, pasta, and gelato, while BlackSheep is a popular spot for breakfast and coffee—all within a ten-minute walk to Vernon Street.

On the weekend, residents can tee off on the lush greens of Altona Lakes, Westgate and Stony Creek golf courses.

Perfect for picnics, birdwatching, and nature hikes with pets, the 33-hectare Newport Lakes Reserve is only a 10-minute walk from KNEW, with its dramatic dividing stones between the North and South Lakes and various walking tracks.

The townhouses are now ready to move in.
