A Port Melbourne trophy apartment has been sold for $1.85 million.

It sits with the five-storey Coast project built by Probuild for the Carter Group in 2003.

The 11 apartment complex was designed by architects SJB. 

It last sold for $1.4 million in 2016 and first sold in 2003 at $840,000.

Situated at 6/23 Beaconsfield Parade, the 147 sqm apartment has views of the bay through palm trees.

The apartment in the boutique block was available as a rental in 2019 seeking $900/pw.

There was a higher two bedroom, two bathroom unit sale in 2017 at $2.25 million. It had first sold in 2003 at $1.15 million.

Other SJB projects in Port Melbourne have included ID, on the corner of Pickles and Rouse streets, undertaken by the Sheridan Property Group.
