OSK launch Canopy Loft collection at Southbank's BLVD Melbourne Square apartment development
OSK has launched a boutique selection of lofts at BLVD, the latest stage of their $2.8 billion Melbourne Square masterplan in Southbank.
The Canopy Loft collection has a limited range of one, two and three-bedroom configurations starting from $877,000.
OSK Property's Sales and Marketing Director Ivy Chen says the Canopy Lofts offers a different lens to traditional apartment living.
“These Canopy Lofts are a very rare apartment product and appeal to a contemporary audience who want to be right next to the CBD yet are looking for something with a ‘townhouse’ feel," Chen says.
"Few high-rise developers build these types of loft apartments and when they do, they are always limited in number, which makes these very sought-after.”
The majority of the lofts have a main living space on the downstairs level, then another multi-purpose space upstairs which suits a small break out lounge with study area. That overlooks the void down to the main space.
"Given the huge void, it means the lofts have six-metre high ceilings from the ground level, essentially double a standard ceiling height," Chen adds.
The three-bedroom lofts offer a generous 157 sqm of living space.
BLVD is the second stage in OSK's Melbourne Square precinct, launched following the completion of the first two successful towers in the mini masterplan.
Designed by COX Architecture, BLVD is one of the first residential projects in Australia to be registered for WELL Certification, offering residents a healthy environment as well as future-proof living with smart technology and co-working spaces.
BLVD's extensive amenity features a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, part of its fitness and wellness space known as the Podium Club which features a state-of-the-art gym, a spa, and a sauna.
Local buyers, mainly from Southbank, Docklands and the CBD are tipped to engage the most with the new tower, with strong interest already generated from buyers who purchased in the previous stage.
The State Government recently announced they'll be developing a $1.5 million park up the road from Melbourne Square, near the Australia Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA). The green space, which will span more than one hectare, is part of the government's $7.4 million Better Parks and Playgrounds program.
OSK took it upon themselves when creating their two-hectare precinct to reserve a significant portion for green space. They've already developed the 3,745 sqm Kennedy Park, designed by Taylor Cullity Lethlean, which features extensive established gardens and a waterfall, so residents can connect with nature.
