Piper Townhomes is a boutique collection of 14 modern, low-maintenance townhouses in the bayside suburb of Williamstown.

The terraces are just one part of AVJennings' vision for Waterline Place, which they described as “a village within a village”. It will be home to around 500 residences across 14 apartment and townhouse developments, weaved among a sea of biophilic and pedestrian-friendly, streets and laneways.

Piper comprises nine three-bedroom homes facing Nelson Place, starting from an extension of the neighbouring Lonsdale and Lysander townhomes. They will continue the bluestone and angled roofline theme that mimics traditional local cottages and industrial buildings of the past, to blend in with the established architectural character of the area.

The three-bedroom townhouses have been designed with young families and downsizers in mind, with extensive storage spaces, larger full-height windows, and a living area that opens out to a room-sized balcony.

The smaller mid-row terraces feature vertical zoning and a planned layout which allows for natural light. AVJennings said they were ideal for young couples wanting their first home, as well as being attractive to investors.

Located within Hobson Bay, the area offers cafes, restaurants, supermarket, shops, swimming beaches and renowned boating clubs.

Residents are also close to Williamstown, Williamstown Beach and Newport train stations and nine kilometres away from the city.

Piper Townhomes are expected to be completed by mid-2022.
