Boutique property developers KBMV will soon finish construction on their Caulfield North project Alma Village, with completion slated for August this year.

They engaged the David Carabott's CHT Architects to design the project, in collaboration with design firm SORA, led by Chantelle Balliro.

Their brief was to make Alma Village a bold architectural statement with a unique and modern facade, while also paying to it's surroundings.

Linear in form, Alma Village's facade honours it's locale, drawing inspiration from its surrounding streetscape while asserting a fresh and distinctive presence.

Toeing the line between classic and contemporary, the building incorporates a layered mix of natural and manmade textures with strong articulation allowing for large recessed balconies within the built form.

The integration of lush landscaping by renowned landscape architect John Patrick further elevates the development, with greenery cleverly interwoven into the building's design, creating a softening effect and blending seamlessly with the surrounding natural beauty.

"These outdoor spaces foster a sense of connection and rejuvenation. Lush and generous, they draw residents out of their homes and encourage them to engage with the beauty of the landscape," Patrick said.

Upon stepping inside Alma Village, residents are greeted with an abundance of natural light that floods the interiors. The architects have deliberately crafted the interiors to offer a neutral canvas, allowing residents to infuse their own unique design preferences into each home.

"The interiors of Alma Village embody timeless style, defined by an authentically elegant palette of finishes as well as abundant light and ample space," Balliro said.

Light timber joinery has been utilised throughout the living spaces, complemented by natural stone surfaces, warm oak engineered timber floors, and plush wool blend carpets.

The attention to detail extends into the heart of the home, the kitchen. High-end appliances, ample storage, and stone surfaces complete the space before flowing into the living room which is adorned with stone plinths and curved forms.

Buyers are also offered the opportunity to elevate their living experience with premium upgrades, with inclusions such as a fireplace and a custom bar on offer.

The master bedrooms in Alma Village have been thoughtfully designed as tranquil retreats, offering residents a private sanctuary within their own homes. Spacious robes and bespoke dressers cater to residents' storage needs, while the ensuite bathrooms feature arched mirrors, walk-in showers, and freestanding baths.

Two and three-bedroom apartments can still be purchased in the development, with prices starting from $930,000.
