Victoria’s property market is likely to rebound with high levels of activity forecasted in the new year.

According to Barry Plant chief executive Mike McCarthy, Melbourne is likely to see recovery in the outer-suburbs first, while traditionally it is the inner-suburbs that lead the recovery. Townhouses and single-level units are likely to continue to gain value, McCarthy said.
