Just like Port Lane, The Barkly was also designed by renowned Australian architecture practice, Rothelowman, so you'll be able to see some of the intuitive design features of The Barkly carried through to the design of Port Lane. The townhouse development features 65 dwellings on a 0.7-hectare site., with dedicated communal outdoor spaces. The team sought to improve the streetscape by adding rain gardens, trees and creative hard landscaping.
The industry-leading development claimed a win at the 2016 UDIA Awards for Excellence in the Medium Density category. The development sold out in just three months.
YARRAVILLE PLACE
Prior to Port Lane, ID_Land commenced a whirlwind campaign of their Yarraville development, Yarraville Place. The Rothelowman-designed multi-residential development maintained the company's successful sales track record, reaching 100% of the development sold, right when civil construction neared completion. The development pays homage to the site's history, with both Rothelowman and ID_Land having worked closely with heritage consultants Bryce Raworth to ensure the fabric of the past is woven into the modern development.
Yarraville Place features 98 3 and 4-bedroom townhomes and estimated completion for the development is slated for 2022.
