Dallas house the cheapest sold at Melbourne weekend auctions

A three bedroom house in Melbourne's northern suburbs sold for $258,000 at auction this weekend.

8 Washington Street, Dallas was the most affordable home auctioned in the city this week, according to RP Data.

Sold under instructions from the estate executor by Richard Imbesi of Stockdale and Leggo Glenroy, the house sits on a 580 square metre plot. The land also holds a separate unit and a garden shed.

The home is within walking distance of Upfield railway station.

According to RP Data, the median price for a house in Dallas was $280,250 in September. The median price reached a peaked of $328,750 for the last 12 months in March.
