A Beaumaris, Victoria mortgagee apartment has sold for $2.05 million.

The three bedroom two bathroom penthouse abode was originally listed with $3,300,000 to $3,600,000 price guidance.

Jason Brinkworth and Dahli Woosnam of Marshall White Real Estate marketed the property.

Situated at 18/495 Balcombe Road, the home sold under the hammer after two previously unsuccesful auctions.

The asking price of the home was reduced to $2.1 million over the life of the campaign which started in October 2018.

It wasn't until late October 2019 that the home was marketed as a mortgagee offering.

Featuring vast skygarden balconies front and rear, with 180 degree views north and south, the unit also has access to three basement car spaces.

The median sale price for a unit in Beaumaris is $852,500, according to the latest CoreLogic data.
