Basement Melbourne retail space sells for $1.7 million

A basement retail space in Collins Street Melbourne has sold for $1.655 million to a private investor.

The 667 square metre site at 325 Collins Street is leased to a Chinese grocery store until April 2014 with options until 2020. It earns $187,746 per annum plus GST in rent.

It was sold by Fitzroys agents Andrew Hewett and Chris Kombi.

It is in the basement of the Mark Building. The space includes a car space, a storage unit and a toilet.
