Architect Robert Burnham is selling his Victorian cottage in Brighton.

Burnham purchased the former workers cottage around 14 years ago for $215,000.

It is currently listed with a $1.35 million plus price guide.

Located  at 14 Loller Street, the property features three bedrooms, a modern chef’s kitchen with Ilve appliances and marble detailing and timber in the bathroom.

The property also boasts a landscaped courtyard and a separate guesthouse.

Burnham says the cottage was a complete "dump" when he purchased it and has built it into a home that oozes "charm and character".

Burnham moved out of the terrace 12 months ago and says it's the perfect entry point into the Brighton market.

The median house price in Brighton is $1,660,000, according to RP Data.
