Geelong region a standout performer: CoreLogic

While the main capital city markets have seen clearances rates trend lower this year, the region of Geelong has been a stand out performer, according to CoreLogic.

It has had an average clearance rate of 78.6% over the year-to-date, the firm says.

A Brougham Street two bedroom apartment with bay views has been recently sold for $1.31 million.

It was sold by Jim Cross and David Cortous from McGrath.

The 601/120 Brougham Street (pictured above) apartment comes with large open plan living area, north facing balcony, modern kitchen with stone benchtops, and secure single car park.

The building was recently fully repainted externally and well maintained.

A Bourke Crescent updated three bedroom house was traded for $840,000 on June 20 (pictured below).

It was sold by Ben Riddle and Rob Nelis from Buxton.

40 Bourke Crescent features three spacious bedrooms, main lounge room, open plan light filled kitchen and adjoining dining/meals area, and single garage.

It is just a short walk to Geelong's Waterfront, shopping districts, hospitals, train station and schools.

It was sold by Chirs-Maree Wilson from Purplebricks.
