Marshall White expands to Albert Park premises

Real estate agents Marshall White has signed a six year lease at the old Kay & Burton premises in Melbourne's Albert Park.  

The lease, at level 1, 101-105 Dundas Place, was for 325 square metres and includes five on-site car parks. Marshall White is expanding out of its previous premises of 201 square metres, at 119 Bridport Street. Its lease expiry is January 2015.  

Commenting on the deal, Fitzroys agent Tom Backay said the rate of just over $350 per square metre per annum plus GST reflected "the strength of the rental market in the Albert Park area", where he noted that there were only a handful of office leasing options available at any one time.
