Motor racing legend Allan Moffat lists Toorak apartment

Motor racing legend Allan Moffat and his wife Sue have listed their Toorak apartment with price expectations around $2.5 million.

The Martin Court property is within a boutique duplex.

The first-floor home is spread over the entire 312-square-metre level.

The property features three bedrooms, four bathrooms and a home theatre room.

Gina Kantzas of James Buyers Advocates says the bonus media room with bathroom in the basement is perfect for teenagers or older grandkids for movie viewing, or alternatively, can be used as extra accommodation. 

Marcus Chiminello of Marshall White has listed the apartment for a private sale.

Recently inducted into the V8 supercar hall of fame, Moffat’s wins include four at Bathurst, six at Sandown and four in the Australian touring car championships.

The couple paid $2.25 million in 2011. It had been passed in at $2.7 million at its 2010 auction.
