Southeastern suburbs dominate Melbourne house turnover statistics: REIV

Melbourne's southeast has dominated a list of suburbs with the highest turnover of houses in the March quarter.
Pakenham, with a median house price of $315,000, took top spot on the list, which was published by the Real Estate Institute of Victoria. But Pakenham's median house price fell 6% in the quarter.
Meanwhile, inner city suburbs featured heavily in a list suburbs with the highest turnover of units and apartments.
