Kingsbury top Victoria's 10 fastest selling suburbs: RP Data

Kingsbury, a suburb 12-kilometres north east of the CBD – and with a median house price of $435,000 – is Victoria’s fastest selling suburb with an average of 30 days on the market.

Then the home to the world famous Melbourne Cup, Flemington comes in a close second with an average of 31 days on the market and a median house price of $640,000.

Third place is a draw between Croydon South and Tullamarine with an average of 33 days on the market.

Croydon South - 30 kilometres east of the CBD - has a median house price of $435,500

With hundreds of planes coming and going everyday at Victoria's main airport, Tullamarine has a median house price of $387,500, in fourth fatest selling location.

It snappily sold 16 days later for $411,000 on July 4.

A property located at 10 Club Avenue Kingsbury was first listed for sale on September 10 2012.

The listing ended on October 31 – a total of 52 days on the market - after securing a $400,000 sale.

And a property at 105 Fairway Kingsbury sold after 35 days on the market.

It was first listed on June 10 2012 and secured a $402,000 sale on July 14.

However, located in Victoria's high country, Mount Beauty – with a median house price of $155,000 – is Victoria’s slowest selling suburb with a whopping average of 232 days on the market
