Southbank is an inner urban neighbourhood of Melbourne, home to the Arts Precinct and OSK Group’s latest multi-residential development, Melbourne Square.

Situated in the city’s cultural heart, and amongst one of the highest concentrations of arts, cultural and creative organisations anywhere in the world, Melbourne Square is the largest new city precinct.

Comprising 1,054 two and three-bedroom apartments, the development reflects the essence of the city thanks to dynamic designs by COX Architecture.

Each residence features contemporary interiors curated by Carr, creating intelligently crafted spaces which make the most of the spectacular city views on offer.

Residents of the precinct can enjoy a host of shared amenities, including a resort-style outdoor pool, indoor pool, yoga studio, golf simulator, gym and private cinema.

Other spaces including a games room, private dining areas and kitchen facilities and sun terrace.

The project has resonated with purchasers in the off-the-plan market, as well as had a positive impact on the community.

COX Architecture director Paul Curry said stage one of Melbourne Square formed a key component in the growing footprint of Melbourne, comprising a total of six towers when fully completed including a workplace tower, luxury hotel and retail precinct.

“The Melbourne Square masterplan is an exciting public realm focused addition to the city’s urban fabric,” Curry said.

With stage one complete, interested buyers and the broader Southbank community are encouraged to explore the amazing offerings at this expansive $2.8 billion development when they can.

Delivering on once lacking everyday assets, Melbourne Square now boasts a new park, full-line supermarket and childcare centre.

Construction at Melbourne Square has been led by Multiplex and commenced in 2017, with the Kavanagh Street hub since evolving to feature a new 3,745sqm Taylor Cullity Lethlean-designed public park.

Spanning over 14,000sqm, there is abundant private and public amenity on offer at the first stage of the development.

Among these new facilities is Victoria’s first double-storey Woolworths supermarket and an 87-place childcare facility operated by Nido Early School, a subsidiary of Think Childcare.
