The Vaucluse home of art consultant Bambi Blumberg, a director of art insurer Barta and Partners, and her husband, ex-Westpac banker and Hutchison Telecommunications executive Derek Blumberg, has been listed with $7 million hopes.

The Art House has been home to the Blumbergs and their three sons for 22 years since sold for $910,000.

The listing with D’Leanne Lewis, of Laing+Simmons Double Bay, follows the family’s youngest son, rising soccer star Ryan Blumberg, being selected to join the Nike Academy after a three-day trial last year in France.

The six-bedroom mansion was designed by architect David Phillips.

It has interiors by Meryl Hare, of Hare+Klein.

The house sits on 936 sqm with a swimming pool.

The Serpentine Parade property goes March 27 auction.
