Urban Taskforce Australia has announced that entries for its 2014 Development Excellence awards are now open.

The Urban Taskforce Development Excellence Awards 2014, acknowledges development that achieves the best outcomes for all stakeholders in terms of client requirements, environment, business and community considerations; as well as time, cost and quality.

The 2014 awards will be judged by a panel made up of public and private sector panelists and the awards are open to any development that is completed by March 2014 and subsequently occupied by May 2014.

Judging criteria is broad and includes aspects such as commercial success, innovation, environment and sustainability measures, urban design, architectural merit and end user satisfaction.

The awards likewise have no defined categories and as the Entry Book states, awards may be presented in areas such as affordable housing, heritage preservation, retail and industrial development and mix-used development.

Entries close 11th April 2014.

The entry book and entry form can be found on Urban Taskforce Australia's website.
