Olivia RoundJune 16, 2020

Ideally situated in the popular central Melbourne neighbourhood of Fitzroy North, is a new SALTA development, 249QP. Recently we were invited to take a tour of the display suite to see what the apartments would look like upon completion.

Check out our video tour:

249QP AT A GLANCE

Developer: Salta

Architect: Fieldwork

Builder: Figurehead

Location: 249 Queens Parade, Fitzroy North VIC 3068

Number of residences: 92

THE DEVELOPMENT

On the ground floor, two retail tenancies will take residence, and will be aptly suited to a sophisticate wine bar or bustling local cafe. Rising up the tower will be home to a selection of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments - with flexible floorplan layouts, and stunning views of the city and surrounding landscape.

THE DESIGN

One of the stand-out features of the display suite is the elegant kitchen in the centre of the room. The 249QP kitchens boast luxurious Miele appliances, an extra spacious island bench and integrated storage. Residents will love having the flexibility to entertain or hone in on their cooking skills, with the intuitive layout of this modern kitchen design. The kitchen extends to an open plan living area, connected by rustic timber flooring. The statement ceiling height adds drama and creates a great feeling of spaciousness within the home.

249QP bathrooms incorporate a textural design palette with timeless modern fixtures and brushed stainless steel hardware.

Thoughtfully designed by Fieldwork, 249QP features a well-integrated facade which honours the neighbourhood's historic shop frontages and bespoke interiors for modern inner-city living. The Tract landscape design brings a connection to nature, with considered rooftop planting, giving residents their own secluded garden in the heart of the city.

THE SUSTAINABILITY

Buyers can feel confident knowing their home has been crafted with sustainable initiatives at the forefront of design. Including the installation of solar panels, rainwater tanks and sustainably sourced materials.

The use of low-VOC paints, carpets and sealants also means these properties are a lot safer for the health of both residents and the environment.

249QP is exemplary of a truly Melbourne development. To learn more about the apartments on offer, reach out to a sales agent via Urban today.
