A trophy home and business in Queensland's Glass House Mountains has been significantly reduced for a quick sale.

The asking price had been $3.3 million through Alex Orman of HPBrokers in conjunction with Doug Ison of Insite Realty but it has been reduced to $2.75 million after over 800 days on the market.

The current owners bought the estate for $675,000 in 2006.

To call this one a trophy home is a bit of a stretch.

The property actually consists of three architect-designed luxury cottages which also includes a cafe.

Rustic in style, 182 Glass House-Woodford Road, or 'Glass on Glasshouse' has recently undergone a substantial renovation.

The cafe started operating in 1996 and can seats up to 24 people inside and 24 people outside, with views of the mango orchard and Mount Coonowrin. Wild Kangaroos are known to graze below the patrons.

The building has a cool room, storage room, two toilets, a fully equipped kitchen and its own 24,000 litre poly water tank and 1.5KV solar system.

The business as a whole started operating in 1998 and has won a number of award, including the most romantic holiday rental from Stayz and a Trip Advisor certificate of excellence for the last three years.

The business has an average turnover of $222,000 and there is room for expansion, with council approval for a further three cottages.
