A Toorak trophy home at 47 Lansell Road has sold in an off-market agreement at around $20 million.

Title Tattle gleans it sold to Kelly Healey of Mulberry Lodge, East Yorkshire in the United Kingdom.

The January sale details have been underwraps for around eight months.

Fairfax Media suggest its sale was secured by Kay & Burton managing director Michael Gibson who had the listing likewise in 2007.

It last sold in 2007 at $11.5 million when bought by the Shergold family. In 2000 it sold at $5.5 million and in 1981 at $907,000.

The $24 million Melbourne house-price record remains intact.
