The Woollahra investment apartment of Today Show host Georgie Gardner and her investment banker husband Tim Baker remains for sale on listing websites after its scheduled auction at the weekend.

The Agency’s Bethwyn Richards and Anji Lake had marketed the top-floor apartment with a guide of $850,000 to $900,000 having initially suggested $900,000.

Gardner bought the two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in the 1930s Araluen block of 12 in 1998, some three years after she started working as a journalist having grown up in Perth. Gardner, who joined Nine in 2002 to present the weather, paid $346,000.

The Edgecliff Rd unit, with district views from its leafy balcony, includes original period features such as high ceilings, elegant period cornices and sash windows.

It was last advertised for rent at $570 a week in 2013.

Gardner and Baker are thinning their property portfolio, having also recently listed their South Coast weekender.

They’ve owned the family getaway at Culburra Beach since paying $560,000 in 2007.

The listings come just weeks after the couple upgraded from Artarmon to Mosman, where they’ve spent $6 million.
