Last traded for $120,000 in 1977, a stately Queen Anne, Kew home, designed by Christopher Cowper around 1907, has been listed for May 7 auction.

The deep front garden frames the four bedroom home on its corner 14 Studley Avenue block.

There are $3.5 million plus hope for its May 7 auction through Nelson Alexander agent Mark Verrocchi.

It comes with coffered timber ceilings and superb leadlight bay window arches in its foyer and dining room.

Kew's median house price is $2,010,000, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
