The challenges facing renters
Finding somewhere to rent can always be a challenge, and it's particularly interesting that many take to Twitter to air their woes (we've all done it at one time or another). With vacancy rates at lows across many of our capital cities, this Christmas season it's time to put the shoe on the other foot and consider the situation that tenants find themselves in.
We note that the following tweets come from across the globe - it looks like the same problems are faced in many cities at the moment.
I don't want to rent something beyond my price range and then hope to get a roommate, but finding a place big enough is a challenge.
