The dearest home sold in the 2011 Block Richmond renovation series has been listed for August 31 auction.

It's the three bedroom 37 Cameron Street Richmond cottage renovated by Josh and Jenna.

The Edwardian cottage sold for $1 million. Its latest price guidance is $1 million plus. RP Data suggests Richmond house prices are 5% weaker than this time last year at $767,000 which is also well down on the $800,000 median around the time of the 2011 auction.

"A magical renovation that deserves an inspection," says Biggin & Scott listing agents Russell Cambridge and Allan Cove.

After its 2011 sale it became available for rent.

It was initially for lease with a weekly $1,250 asking rent after the auction and then a year later at $1,000 a week.

Its initial asking rent post-auction reflected a 6.3% gross yield.

The August 31 auction listing agent Russell Cambridge had the marketing of 39 Cameron Street when the Block made its first appearance in the inner-Melbourne suburb of Richmond in 2011.
