The Block All Stars gets above 1 million viewers as Phil and Amity's cottage hits online marketing

The Block enjoyed its first time above 1 million viewers with Monday night's room reveal.

It had a 1.13 million audience, according to OzTAM, which again had My Kitchen Rules in top spot with a 1.8 million audience.

The Block had 320,000 Sydney viewers and 369,000 in Melbourne on Monday night's room reveal. The Block has averaged 990,000 viewers over its four-night stretch to date, while MKR has averaged 2.02 million nightly over the same period.

The Sydney average viewing for The Block has been a suprisingly low 261,000 to the triumphant MKR's 577,000. In Melbourne it's been 338,000 nightly viewers for The Block to the 592,000 for MKR.

The latest overnight audience ratings had the All Stars back to 926,000 on Tuesday evening.

Meanwhile, Phil and Amity have kicked off their marketing for their Bondi cottage.

Their somewhat generic ads have appeared on Domain. Its been listed through 1st City - Hasemer + Caldwell.Eyles.
