The $18 million Toorak trophy home listing

A Toorak home has been listed with $18 million expectations.

Charleston, at 774 Orrong Road, sits on close to 2000 square metres with tennis court and pool.

The five bedroom, five bathroom home on 1965 square metres was last sold at auction in 2007 by adman Hylton Mackley at $7.8 million, against a reserve of $6.5 million.

There has been a recently completed a $3.5 million renovation. '

Kay & Burton’s Andrew Baines is marketing 774 Orrong Road for private sale. 

He sold it last time for then director of advertising firm Clemenger Communications, Hylton Mackley, and his wife, Eileen who had bought the property 20 years earlier for $1.425 million.
