Storage queen Tina Clark sells to Tim Murray
The storage queen Tina Clark has sold her Tamarama home and bought something a little more snug given her expansionary plans for her company into US markets.
She's still staying by a Sydney beach however, having secured a four bedroom Coogee apartment for $1.92 million through George Savva at LJ Hooker Coogee.
A stickler for the finer things in life, Clark sought out a lock up and leave given the Sagitine storage founder is spending more time overseas.
Her new 197 sqm apartment occupies the entire upper level of a boutique Art Deco block of just five.
Her three-bedroom Birrell Street, Tamarama renovation was bought for $1.43 million in 2003 from the wealthy Australia-based Buckeridge family. Adjoining Tamarama Gully, the 540 sqm property sold for $3 million through Simon Exleton at McGrath Estate Agents.
Clark, a former New York-based broker, founded Sagitine just three years ago after roles at AMP, Deutsche Bank and Samsung Securities.
She spent a lot of her career in the shopping hubs of New York and Hong Kong and, put simply, couldn't find a storage solution for her prized possessions. So she designed one.
