Stephen Kidd-designed River House Noosa sells for $4.68 million

A Stephen Kidd-designed Noosa Heads property, known as The River House, has sold for $4.68 million to Killara buyers.

Located on Witta Circle, the four-bedroom home was listed most recently with $4.95 million hopes.

The 616-square-metre property at 41 Witta Circle was initially listed in 2009 with $7.3 million hopes.

The downstairs living area opens onto a large deck, only metres from the water and the upstairs floor features three bathrooms and the four bedrooms.

The property last sold in December 2000 for $2.5 million.

Julia Bengtsson and Marcus Bengtsson of Tom Offermann real estate held the listing.

The median house price in Noosa Heads is $657,500, a 14.6% decline in the past five years, according to RP Data.

Stephen Kidd has been designing houses in Noosa for the past 30 years and has received over 90 national, state and regional awards.

Kidd's properties have been featured on the front covers of Vogue Living and Australia House and Garden magazines.
