The Ripples, a tightly held New Farm waterfront, has been listed for sale.

One of the best examples of Spanish Mission-style architecture along the Brisbane River, the Griffth Street mansion was design in 1928 by E.P. Trewern.

It sits on 740 square metres that was originally part of Sir Samuel Griffith's Merthyr estate.

The four bedroom home with terracotta roof tiles, decorative rendered gables, ornamental metalwork and geometric leadlight windows has a rare private pontoon on the water.
