South Melbourne sells at $300,000 premium to late 2016 buyer interest

A four-bedroom home at 8 Ferrars Place, South Melbourne has been sold at auction for $4.1 million through Sam Painter and Greg Hocking at Greg Hocking Holdsworth. 

An off-market sale in December of the four-bedroom house would have gone ahead at $3.8 million, but the buyer pulled out.
 
It was listed as an off-market offering last December when a touted $3.8 million buyer pulled out.
 
The agents noted five months later, with exposure from a full-on marketing campaign, it got a markedly different result.
