A trophy apartment at the Emporium Residences complex in Brisbane’s South Bank has been on-sold.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom 17th floor sub-penthouse apartment fetched $3.9 million.

Located at 1702/35 Tribune Street, the 264 sqm residence offers views over the Brisbane CBD, River and parklands.

The home features an open-plan living and dining, natural oak flooring and high ceilings.

Its residents benefit from access to facilities and services from the Emporium Hotel including a health and wellness centre, rooftop pool and Emporium’s bar and restaurant.

The 2018 built Emporium offers 143 rooms and 220 fully-serviced residences.

The sub-penthouse came with a lock-up storage cage, Gaggenau appliances and custom timber joinery.

Bold Residential’s Phillip Rand and Kierin Strachan marketed the listing.

The apartment sits within Anthony John Group’s Southport development in the city’s South Bank precinct.

The $660 million Southport development consists of three towers including apartments, the 143-room Emporium Hotel, plus a major office tower.

The Emporium Residences commanded an average sale price of $1.39 million with its off the plan sales in 2018 reportedly seeing one local Brisbane buyer pay $5.2 million, reflecting $16,000 per square metre, for a lavish apartment with in-built fireplace on level 18 of the Emporium Residences.
