Sotheby's International Realty Sydney has announced it will open a Gold Coast office.

After an absence from Australia for several years, the international brand opened in Sydney's Double Bay in September, 2012

Sotheby's also plans an office in Melbourne, but not yet.

It is understood the Gold Coast office will be headed by assistants within the Double Bay office rather the recruit any leading headline Gold Coast agent.

Michael Pallier told News Ltd papers he views Gold Coast prices as just about at "rock bottom.''
