Security consultant Craig Harwood and wife Natalie are trying to flip two Toorak properties they bought for $24 million just two years ago.

The couple are now asking between $27 million and $29 million for the Myvore Court residences.

They occupy a 3,435 square metre combined space which now come with Chris Clout plans to create a mega mansion.

They paid $16 million for a newly built five bedroom home in Jack Merlo gardens with an infinity pool.

It was the home that sold for $19.1 million to expats in 2017 but they couldn't complete.

The Harwood's had been the underbidders at the 2017 private auction.

He spent a further $8 million for the neighbouring classic 1980s style home next door that has an entertaining whiskey bar opening to the pool, garden and tennis court.

In 2016, Harwood sold his security company Securecorp Australia and associated properties to Shanghai-listed China Security & Fire for a reported $157.5 million.
