Radio broadcaster Rove McManus and his wife, actor Tasma Walton, have sold their Avalon Beach home.

Coming with ocean views, the couple, who have a two-year-old daughter, Ruby, initially sought $3.2 million.

But less than $3 million was secured by the Gold Logie award winner who bought the 1525 sqm clifftop property in 2011 for $2.57 million from the McBeath family.

The five-bedroom home sold through Raine & Horne features a wraparound terrace, open-plan living areas and a swimming pool.

The tri-level floorplan was designed by architect John Cochran with a Moroccan-inspired aesthetic in 2008.

The impressive main entertaining terrace is equipped with a built-in barbecue/outdoor kitchen that adjoins the in-ground pool.

At the rear of the property is an artists’ retreat and deck, along with a gate for direct access to Bangalley Head.

The couple are likely to relocate to the coastal eastern suburbs.

Southern Cross Austereo have been worried this year by the lack of audience takeup for their Rove and Sam breakfast show on 2DayFM.
