A 15th-level, three-bedroom South Yarra apartment in the Robin Boyd designed Domain Park, largely in original condition, went to weekend auction.
It had a price guidance of $2 million to $2.2 million.
There was a $2.3 million opening bid.
It was auctioned by Marshall White auctioneer John Bongiorno who immediately declared the property on the market.
Three bidders then pushed the north-facing apartment, with protected views over the Royal Botanic Gardens and the city, to its $2.91 million sale price.
The 15th-level, three-bedroom apartment came with two car spaces at 15.1/193 Domain Road.
