The Alderley, Brisbane home of jeweller Jenny McLaurie is for sale.

It is a Richard Lonn-designed property, set in an elevated position with views across the rooftops to the city skyline.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom house occupies a 794 square metre block with the key living areas and master bedroom on the top floor.

Canda Reynolds of McGrath Paddington will take the three level home to February 4 auction. It last traded in 2012 at $1.957 million, having been built in 2008.

Buyers have been advised recent comparable sales included 30 Wellbeck Street, which sold for $2.5 million last June.
