Retired Sydney Swan Jeremy Laidler and wife, former Miss World Australia turned Seven News Sydney journalist Amber Greasley, are trading up in Sydney's east.

They've just sold their Bronte apartment, with plans to upgrade to a house in Maroubra.

Laidler and Greasley's Bronte apartment cost them $935,000 in 2015 when Laidler was still in the white and red.

He called time on his 10 year career last year and became the club's development coach after 61 appearances for the Swans, as well as spending time at Carlton and Geelong earlier in his AFL career.

Their first floor apartment with coastal chic style came with two bedrooms, one opening to a balcony.

The new designer bathroom had matte black hardware.

The open plan entertaining space had a leafy outlook.

Belle Property Bondi Junction mother and daughter duo, Marina Makhlin and Stella Gankin secure the apartment sale.

Their Maroubra home will offer more space for their miniature dachshund Kev for the couple who met in 2013 after she relocated from Queensland to Melbourne when he was with the Blues.

Their dog has his own instragram page.

Maroubra has certainly become a hotspot for Sydney Swans players over recent years.

The likes of Luke Parker, Isaac Heeney and Heath Grundy have called the coastal suburb home.

Laidler and Greasley wed last November in Melbourne, with Charlotte Goodlet, fiancée of former Swans captain Kieren Jack as one of her bridesmaids.

Greasley won Miss World Australia in 2011, then heading to the final in London armed with a jar of Vegemite and a Collingwood football jumper for the three-week competition involving 110 Miss World winners.

She was disappointed at coming 21st, losing the global crown to former nun-in-training Miss Venezuela, Ivian Sarcos.

Greasley has been an ambassador of Liptember for the past seven years, helping to raise funds and awareness for women’s mental health.
