South Sydney Rabbitoh's star George Burgess and wife Joanna have capped off their eventful year with the sale of their family home.

It comes soon after also selling a redundant investment property.

The couple, who recently welcomed their second child Birdie Maquelle, a sister to Boston who was born last year, have sold their four bedroom home in Chifley.

The two-level duplex was designed by architects Pinnacle Plus on a 256 sqm site with a rear garden with lawn.

It was one of the proliferation of company title duplex offerings in the Randwick municipality.

Burgess bought it before construction with his former team mate Tim Grant buying the adjoining home.

Another of Burgess's former team mates, Beau Champion, now a real estate agent at NG Farah, secured the sale at $1.6 million.

"Couldn't be happier for my vendors who can now move on to the next phase of their life", Champion captioned when Instragramming his mid-week success.

The couple also recently sold their Little Bay off the plan purchase for $1.35 million, again through Champion, and NG Farah colleague Peter Goulding.

Their next move hasn't been signalled, although they do have an off the plan Randwick purchase scheduled for early next year.
