Why Crest Broadbeach sits in one of the Gold Coast's best pockets

Why Crest Broadbeach sits in one of the Gold Coast's best pockets

While the whole of Broadbeach is always in demand, there's a small pocket at the northern end of Broadbeach which is one of the most sought-after spots in the whole of the suburb.

It's so in desired for two reasons. The small area fronts Broadbeach Park, which means view lines over the 4.2-hectare park, both south and east looking toward the beach and the ocean, are protected.

Then there's also the draw of the park itself. It has the Broadbeach Bowls Club, which has been there since the mid 1950s, a number of sports fields which are home to Broadbeach United Soccer Club, and the Broadbeach Life Saving Club.

There's also Broadbeach Community Kindegarten and a children's playground which draws the family buyer.

Longtime Gold Coast apartment developer Morris Property Group knew the draw of being right on the park. That's why they secured an amalgamated 1,300 sqm site at 13-15 Armrick Avenue and designed a tower targeting the owner-occupier.

That tower is the recently launched Crest Broadbeach, a 40-level tower designed by Guida Moseley Brown with 182 large two and three-bedroom apartments and residential amenity in the form of a swimming pool, gym, lounge space and a communal barbecue area.

Not only the draw of the park, Crest, when completed in late 2025, will be a three-minute walk east to Neilsen Family Park, a cherished icon for generations, offering a well-maintained playground and shade trees, right next to Broadbeach Beach.

Towards the west lies riverside parks such as Surfers Paradise Rotary Park and Cascade Gardens, featuring picnic and play areas.

Residents can conveniently indulge in retail therapy with their pick of shopping centres and boutiques nearby, given Armrick Avenue is on the fringe of Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise. Just over a kilometre from Crest is The Oasis shopping centre which homes a Woolworths, boutique fashion stores and fast and fresh food shops.

For premier shopping, Pacific Fair, boasting 400 local and international brands and designer boutiques, is just a 10-minute drive from Crest, while The Star Gold Coast, a world-class entertainment precinct with a spa, bars and restaurants as well as the casino, is less than five minutes in the car.

Discovering new cuisines, the best coffee in the area, and an eclectic bar and nightclub scene is convenient with some just within walking distance from Crest.

Starting with a cup of coffee and a bagel from highly-rated cafes like Metro Coffee, just beside Crest, and O Bagel, one block away.

The centre of Broadbeach homes some of the Gold Coast's most popular eateries such as The Lamb Shop, Mamasan, Maggie Choo, Koi Dining and Moo Moo.

Beyond entertainment and recreation, young families will also enjoy the proximity of Crest to several primary and secondary schools.

Some of the education options that are less than one kilometre from Crest Broadbeach are Surfers Paradise State School and Broadbeach State School, while Merrimac State High School and The Southport School are less than three kilometres away.

Crest presents as one of the first opportunities to buy brand new on Armrick Avenue in decades.
