The Potter Group has expanded its Gold Coast portfolio with the acquisition of a blue-chip beachside development site in Palm Beach.

They've paid $1.3 million for the 549 sqm site at 1079 Gold Coast Highway site, which has frontage to famous Jefferson Lane.

Potter Group CEO John Potter said the purchase was perfect fit for the company, currently developing a number of up-market residential and industrial warehousing, commercial showroom and office projects on the Gold Coast and Byron Bay.

“Jefferson Lane is certainly one of the jewels in the crown so we are very pleased to have acquired this prime site in one of the highest Gold Coast growth regions over the past two years,’’ Mr Potter said.

“The site has enormous potential located on the Gold Coast Highway with frontage to Jefferson Lane and within close proximity to the beachfront, shopping, schools, parks and Tallebudgera Creek.”

The Potter Group also owns Central on Broadbeach comprising 13 separate titles acquired over six years and held for the past 12 years.

Development Approval has been received for the $700 million redevelopment of Central on Broadbeach into sophisticated mixed use residential, commercial and retail development comprising twin towers over a three-level podium base and four levels of basement car parking.
