Surfers Paradise tops Queensland sales charts for second year running

Surfers Paradise once again reigned supreme in InfoTrack's top 10 best selling apartment markets in Queensland.

The iconic tourist destination, toward to the northern end of the Gold Coast, was the most popular suburb throughout the year. It was the top performing in all four quarters.

Surfers was the only Gold Coast locale in the top five Queensland suburbs, however the top 10 were split evenly between the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

 

South Brisbane was runner-up, followed by the bustling Brisbane City, Newstead, and the eclectic West End.

Hope Island was the second Gold Coast suburb to appear, sixth in the overall top 10. Southport secured seventh position, with sales at Azzura's $3 billion Imperial Square precinct and Eden Garden Residences driving sales later in the year.

Palm Beach, Fortitude Valley, and Mermaid Beach rounded off the top 10, the latter with Hirsch & Faigenearly sold out Yves Mermaid Beach and Dankav's LAANI proving popular.
