A South Brisbane development opportunity has been listed for sale. There is potential to develop up to 10-storeys on the site according to CBRE. The 12 Merivale Street is a 921sqm offering, currently a two-storey 785sqm vacant office/warehouse unit. The marketing suggests the site is located on "one of Brisbane’s most vibrant streets which is on the cusp of a transformation." The property will be offered for auction on October 7. CoreLogic advise the owner is the Queensland Performing Arts Trust. The fflexible zoning (PC1) permits various development outcomes including residential apartments, build-to-rent, commercial office, hotel, medical and vertical retirement/aged care (STCA).
