Sekisui House Australia has launched its latest stage in its multi-award winning West Village precinct, West End.

The two new vertical communities, Uno and Duo, are part of the Allere Collection, which follows the successful sell-out of the previous building, Altura, part of the 2.6 hectare mixed-use precinct which has revitalized the West End area.

The restoration of the heritage 1920’s Peters Ice Cream Factories lies in the heart of the precinct, which, as well as the surrounding heritage buildings, have now been redeveloped and converted into retail, restaurants. and a health and wellness hub.

Fronting Mollison Street, Uno and Duo will both rise 20 storeys and bring over 200 residences designed by renowned architects Rothelowman, with Uno and Duo set to be constructed at the same time. The pet friendly vertical communities have been designed to nourish the soul and create a sense of belonging.

Designed with a distinctive sculptured tectonic wall, Uno will comprise 94 residences, along with two levels of commercial space. 

Emblazoned with subtropical greenery which projects outwardly through the generously-sized balconies to the north and south, integrated landscaping will also cover the terraces on the upper levels. 

Duo is set to be built above the West Village retail precinct, providing future residents with easy access to everything they need. Duo will home 109 apartments with a bold and classic take on the quintessential Queenslander. There will be a mix of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom residences across the towers.

Residents within the Allere Collection will also have the benefit of enjoying double the amenity, with shared access to both Uno and Duo rooftops.

Crowning the Uno tower will be a pool, enclosed dining space, seating areas, a vegetable garden, conservatory, as well as ‘Paw Pavilion’ - an off leash dog space on the rooftop. Topping Duo will be a pool, heated spa, enclosed lounge room and dining space, along with outdoor barbecue facilities and sun loungers. 

West Village, which has been under development since 2016, was recently awarded the internationally renowned 2022 ULI APAC Award for Excellence, with the award adding to the long list the project has amassed over its three short years. It's now racked up more than 40 awards so far.

Sustainability is a key focus at the precinct, with West Village receiving the highest sustainability rating for a master-planned community in Australia, earning World Leadership status with a 6 Star Green Star Communities rating.
