Parliament’s youngest federal MP, Wyatt Roy, now a 22-year-old home owner as on the beach Bribie Island prices fall

Wyatt Roy, the youngest federal Member of Parliament, has bought his first home.

It’s a $340,000 unit in Bribie Island, Queensland.

Roy’s apartment initially sold at $460,000 off the plan in 2004.

The Federal Member for Longman was born in May 1990.

The apartment is on the surf beach, although Roy’s apartment enjoys limited bay views.

It was listed through Richardson & Wrench Bribie Island agent Margaret Watkins.

In 2008 towards its completion the development had secured $22 million worth of sales, with only three apartments then unsold.

All  five other recent sales in the block of 37 have also been at less than initial sale.

Its penthouse has yet to sell.
