Marina Point a favourite for Hope Island downsizers with large apartments on offer

Hope Island developer Sheida Group is bringing something new to the downsizer market on one of the smallest islands on the Gold Coast waterways.

Their Marina Point development, on one of the last remaining undeveloped sites on Hope Island, offers 199 apartments across four buildings, ranging in height from three to nine levels.

What's rare about the project, on a large 2.4-hectare block at the corner of the Coomera River junction, is the size of the apartments, which start from over 150 sqm.

Local owner-occupiers and downsizers have shown the greatest interested in the project so far, with two-bedroom, two-bedroom plus study, and three-bedroom apartments all on offer.

Each apartment has been designed by Forgan & Smith to take advantage of its corner waterfront position. All residences have uninterrupted views of either the river, hinterland, or Surfers Paradise.

The heart of the home is the entertainer's kitchen, featuring a Calacatta benchtop and splashback, top-of-the-line Bosch appliances, and complemented by a butler's pantry with integrated laundry.

The 100 per cent wool-carpeted master suite is complete with a walk-in robe, an ensuite featuring a freestanding bath, and a private balcony overlooking the river.

Each apartment is allocated two car parking spaces with charging stations for electric vehicles.

Marina Point also features a state-of-the-art health and wellness hub, comprising a heated indoor 25-metre lap pool, a golf simulator room, a gym, sauna and spa facilities, a yoga room, and a massage room.

Residents will also have a second 25-metre lagoon pool, surrounded by palm trees, a lounge bar with family-sized tables, and a residents' library.

Marina Point offers unrivalled access to the open waters, with bridge-free moorings accommodating vessels of up to 20 metres in length. There will also be a 300-metre-long public boardwalk along the waterfront.

Convenience is paramount at Marina Point, with a number of retail and dining options nearby including Hope Island Market Place, Marina Shopping Village, and Harbour Town.

Marina Point is slated for completion in July 2025.
